Estel MCP server
The Estel MCP server lets AI assistants work with the same hiring data you use in the Estel app: open tech roles (leads), the companies hiring for them, company news signals, and market statistics. It uses the Model Context Protocol, so it works with Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code and other clients that support remote MCP servers.

Who can use it
The MCP server is included in paid Estel plans (Pro, Business and Enterprise) while the subscription is active. Trials don't include it.
If a subscription ends, your connected apps and API keys stop working until it is renewed. Nothing is deleted. You can manage your plan in the Estel app.

Explore free, enrich with credits
The MCP server works like the Estel app:
- Exploring is free. Search results show what a lead card shows in the app: title, company, location, salary, estimated placement fee, seniority, work and contract type, and skills.
get_leadadds the preview. Exploring is limited only by daily quotas, for example 2,000 lead explores a day. - Enriching costs 1 credit.
enrich_leadunlocks what you see after enriching a lead in the app, including the links to the original job postings. It uses the same monthly credits as the app. A lead you have already unlocked, through MCP or by engaging with it in the app, never costs a credit again. - No credits left? Enrichment fails with
insufficient_credits, and exploring keeps working.
Quick start
- Check that your Estel plan includes MCP access. In the app, open Settings → API & MCP.
- Add
https://mcp.estel.tech/mcpto your AI assistant. See Connect a client for Claude, Cursor, VS Code and others. - When prompted, sign in to Estel and approve access. You can also use an API key instead.
- Ask a question.
Try asking
- "How many senior vs mid-level roles are open in London right now?"
- "What's the median salary for data engineers in Germany, by work type, in EUR?"
- "Which fintech companies in Dublin are hiring the most Python engineers?"
- "Show funding rounds announced by companies in Poland in the last 30 days."
- "Find the newest platform engineering role in Manchester, enrich it and give me the job link." This one uses 1 credit.
Good to know
Your assistant decides which tools to call. To keep it from using credits without asking, tell it to check with you before enriching. Most clients also ask you to confirm tool calls.
